MEET JESSICA

Registered nurse Jessica Miller brings 25 years of nursing experience to our nonsurgical weight loss program. She works closely with Mercy physicians and gives each patient a thorough medical overview before starting the Health Management Resources^® (HMR) weight loss program we use for weight reduction and lifelong maintenance here at Mercy. If you join, she will assess your health weekly and educate you about exactly what’s going on with your body as you "transform" into a smaller version of yourself.

SHE SPEAKS FROM EXPERIENCE

When Jessica tells our members "I know what you’re going through," that’s because she does. She participated in our medical weight loss program before she started working at Mercy Weight Management Center, so she has a keen understanding of how our physician-supervised weight loss program works and what participants experience. Jessica recently rejoined our diet program earlier this year, so today she shares with patients her own struggles and successes—and, of course, sprinkles in a lot of helpful tips and coaching along the way.

The part Jessica enjoys most about her job is getting to meet such a wide variety of great people and providing them with the medical education, tools, coaching and support they need to reach and maintain the weight goal they’ve wished for.

Jessica started her career as a licensed practical nurse (LPN), attained her bachelor of science in nursing (BSN) from Bethel College and is a registered nurse (RN) with a master of arts in organizational leadership (MOL) degree from Lourdes University in Ohio.
